Noémie Desbiens Riendeau

Noémie Desbiens Riendeau is ETC Group’s HR Manager and is based in Tiohtiá:ke, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

As a seasoned program director, trainer and facilitator, she uses a collaborative and participative approach and has a fascination for helping teams work better together. She owns an Undergraduate degree in Agricultural Sciences from McGill University, and a Master's degree in organizational development from Concordia University. 

It is while working in the food systems and NPO fields (as a farmer and community organizer) that her passion for group dynamics, leadership and team cohesion was born. She has since developed a deep love for group processes, power sharing and collective approaches as a means of tapping into the full potential of individuals and organizations. 

When not working, you can find her making sourdough bread in her kitchen, playing games with loved ones, paddleboarding or camping.
